Baron!!! I watched "The Cat Returns" recently......and re-read YaringChick's fanfics.
....And I ended drawing Baron. XD Hahaha
I have so much fun drawing him! Both in cat and human versions (Human Baron .....so dang handsome.)I also drew him as Robin Hood and Westley.... the actor Cary Elwes, who played as Baron in English version, was in "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" and "The Princess Bride", my favorite movies. XD
Man, this world needs more gentlemen like Baron......

He was hard to draw at first, soon later I got used to him. I can't pick which I love to draw: his human form or cat form. He's so handsome in those both forms! Haha! XD

Have you seen InYuJi's artwork for YarningChick's fanfictions? Because your style reminds me a lot of her work (AKA: wonderful) and it's fantastic to see some more TCR artwork appearing. You've got a lovely sketching style and you really have caught Baron's likeness (which is surprisingly difficult) especially with the human Baron.
Have you read some of YarningChick's more recent fanfics? They're longer than usual, but so good! Also Cary Elwes voiced both Baron and Westley - coincidence? I think not. Anyway, I hope you continue do to TCR work, because you have a real talent for it!

Haha, I remembered that time when I forced my closest friend to watch Princess Bride for the first time (I know...this girl *sighs*), she immediately recognized his voice, "Wait...he sounds like....Baron?! Is he? What?! He is?! Oh my gosh!!!" Haha!

Note: Find some tissues if you're going to start YC's more recent stories. I don't know if you've read "All I Have Needed", but some parts are just heartbreaking. Actually, quite a few of her stories are; it's probably why I love them so. They will take some time though - "To Know Oneself" broke past 150k words, but is so worth the read. I'd love to hear what you think of my stories! Have you read any of them?
I remember the first time I saw Princess Bride - I don't think it's so famous on this side of the pond - and I had gone to a sleepover with a friend. She put the film on, telling me it's the most quotable film of all time, and I just adored it. Later I separately discovered The Cat Returns and it took me AGES to realise they were both voiced by Cary Elwes. It explains why I like both films so much. XD

Aw, thank you! It's always good to know which stories people like/remember; it helps for when I'm writing future stories. And, fingers crossed, I should have a Christmas story for this December. (Just gotta write it first...)
Darn it, now I have to watch Princess Bride again. Have you read YC's story that is based on Princess Bride? (I think it's called "As You Wish".) She fits the characters into the roles really well. I'm really bad at recognising voices, so I think it was actually my brother who recognised that they were the same actor. (And he only saw The Cat Returns once...)

YarningChick is such an amazing author, I can't wait for her next story to come out. Are any of these a particular scene from her stories, or just lovely sketches? I think the one on the bottom right is from "A Misunderstanding" but I could be wrong. Also, The Robin Hood!Baron is reminding me to start writing my Robin Hood-esque TCR fic, only in mine Haru is Robin, or rather, Raven Hood.

Pretty well, plot wise. It's mainly the actual writing it down that's troubling me. I do know it will be pretty episodic like To Know Oneself and the original tales.

Well, sometimes the plotline is the easiest to work out and then it's just hitting on the inspiration. You might find that as soon as you have the first scene written out, the rest will come. Most writers find that the start is the most difficult to write.
More episodic stories? Oh, man, I can't wait! (I've had to put on the Disney movie and Robin's just made a size joke about Little John... and all I think about is Muta... XD I think I'm a little too TCR-obsessed.) Do you have any main sources of direct inspiration (any particular versions of Robin Hood, I mean)?

The Disney ones, animated and live action, the Errol Flynn film and Prince of Thieves are my big ones. I also have a book of Robin Hood adventures for kids I'll be referencing. Yeah, I had to totally rewrite the first couple chapters when I returned to it. I was going to have Haru acidentally kill a deer and a guardsman as how she became an outlaw, and Toto was an actual bird while everyone else was human and kinda weird stuff. Now it's more a blend of the live-action Disney and the Errol Flynn movies, with extra parts.

example 1 when we see maid marion for the first time in the bath pleading with god for the man of her dreams to come soon and that he may have the key to her hrmm hrmm "heart"
example 2 when we meet blinkin and he mistakes the statue venus from milo for robin and exclaims "AAHHHRR you lost your arms in battle oh how terrible but you grew some nice boobs"
example 3 (little john achoo will and blinkin in drag will says to blinkin) "blinkin fix your boobs you look like a bleeding picasso"
