I decided to read it againOut of the dark containment I found it
The same tense feeling
Of the crusty old paper
Between my fingers
The lines were new and old
The words I knew
The feelings a warm welcome
To this world of divinity
To this new, old land
A pleasant deja-vu
Of old, new acquaintances
Meeting again for the first time
Faiths entangling
Secrets unraveling
A race between eyes and ink
Marching armies
Against the one hero
Alone
But determined to win
Enlighted lie
The faery land
Of starlit realm
And once again
A hero in love
And then shows up
The menace he
Who crush and burn
And peace not be
In times to come
In darkest hour
A light erupts
Slash, enchant
And he be gone
For peace to follow
A heartburn great
A longing greater
Loss and sorrow
In lightest hour
Be thy destiny
Stories live
While heroes die
Love lived on
For lovers sake
Death despite
