2018 has been a year of highs, but also a year of lows for me. Looking at what I considered my best works I can see the majority of them have a somber feel to it. And one reason I have no doubt is because of the passing of my chihuahua, my Timmy. I made a drawing of him as you can see back in February, but it's obvious my heart still aches for him, and it turns out my work reflected that too. I also suffered two other losses in later months, so that didn't help me much. I also had become way too paranoid because of bad events here and around the world, but I guess that's common since I am now in my mid 30s, you become more worried about your world.
But there had been moments of light in my life as well, they were small, but at least I am glad I still have my parents who love and support me in every possible way, I just hope 2019 doesn't hurt me as much as 2018 did.
