Well, that's your opinion, which I totally respect. But yes, it is true that they changed several things about the past of Ventress, but you should know that Clone Wars is a show whose Canon status is at the highest level because it's produced and supervised by George Lucas. But what at least they manage to do was keep most of her past life from the EU material similar, with the different masters she had, like the jedi teacher. So to me, they didn't completely changed everything.

I tried to watch it. I really did, but it just sucked. All source books that came out said Ventress was a Rattataki, that Rattataki are born genetically bald, that she was born on Rattatak, and that her parents are both dead. And they go and ignore all that? That has been in reference and biography books for like, over three years! That is the fact, that is canon. She is not part Zarback and part Human. That's bullshit. She will always be a Rattataki. I might as well as throw away my comic books that tell her past. Hell, I have to edit and entire fanfiction now.

It's inexcusable, just as much as leaving Durge out of the Series. Durge wasn't just a bounty hunter, he was a commander in the Separatist's Armies, he fought next to Asajj Ventress. He was an important character, and then they just toss him aside and replace him with a French/Hillbilly space cowboy. Lame, so incredibly lame. A human Durge would have been better.

And Grievous choosing his improvements just makes him seem even less as a tragic figure and more like a monster who could care less about anything, not to mentions it totally removed the reason why he hated Jedi so much. That's not what he is. He's a heart broken 'man' who lost someone so dear to him it ruined him. I bet these fools will do an episode about his past and they won't even include Ronderu lij Kummar, or that he had ten wives and thirty children. He'll just be some blood thirsty warlord who never had a relationship and only cared about gaining more.

The acting is also even more wooden then the romantic scenes between Padme and Anakin in Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith.

This series sucks ass.
