I know, it is kinda confusing, considering on a recent special on tfp they mentioned that the transformers don't really have genders, yet Arcee and Airachnid are the only female exceptions. I personally like to think that they are all genderless in terms of their spark, but it's their shapes of their bodies often times make them look either male or female.

So your saying it's just a coincidence that they look what we call feminine? I personally thing that as a artificial race, each one would have their own personality and what we would consider "genders" would be for them a spectrum.

Have tried to avoid spoilers so I couldn't really say. From what I understand though the movie is going to keep the focus mainly on the Autobots and the fight against the rise of the new Predacons and another threat I don't want to mention because of, again, spoilers. Given how the show runners handled the "goodbyes" I doubt we'll see much of anything meaningful between Jack/Arcee or any of the other pairings. Also the writers made it clear that they'll never have the courage to develop anything of substance between Jack and Arcee because of Hasbro's "family" policies. I wrote the series off in that regard quite some time ago.
