Fire is powerful and destructive and Cornel knows this. At most times, he'd prefer not to use it at all. However, as he's pretty much useless in physical combat and since he doesn't know any other types of magic; When faced with an adversary or any other situation where he needs to use it, he does. To better control it, he prefers the magic to be in a sort of "blorb" that he sort of juggles in his hands. These can be easily manipulated and even thrown at an enemy. He does however have the tendency to lose control upon the blorb/s hitting his target and it ends up sort of exploding on impact. He does not mean to do so, but it's a powerful and somewhat effective attack. Though a little sloppy in handling magic, if he concentrates well enough, he can control fire very well and has been known to have stopped fire from burning things. Said fire was still burning though.. he was just preventing the fire from burning what it was burning. Also, something one should know, he doesn't know how to magically extinguish a fire once he's made it.
Personality:
A generally happy persona, but somewhat of a worrywart. He doesn't necessarily hate or dislike Lucid's but is distrusting and very wary about them. To some extent, he may even be outright afraid of Lucid's.
He has mixed feelings about Revenants. While they would be considered now as one of them, he claims they "still smell like Lucid's".
History:
Cornelius, or 'Cornel' as he prefers to be called, was once a resident of Aval but now spends most of his time traveling all over REM. Due to having lived most his younger days in Aval, he has become quite proficient in the use of Fire Magic.
Whenever his childhood is brought up, he would describe it as an "uneventful" part of his life, and that his teenage years are "something he doesn't want to talk about". Some suspect it is for that reason, whatever the exact reason may be, that he left Aval at the age of 17.
He's been traveling for about 4 years now and, much to his dismay, still has not learned any new magics. Learning new magics and techniques is his goal in his travels and he seeks to become more skilled and powerful.
He has lately been wondering if he should settle down somewhere or find traveling companions in hopes of finally learning something new.
Trivia:
If there's something you should never mention, it's his height. Doesn't matter if it's someone taller or shorter than he. As long as his height is mentioned in anyway, he will immediately respond with a "I'm not short!" which is then followed with some other strange response.
Cornel is actually somewhat goat-like. His name "Cornel" means "horned". His horns (that grow downwards) and ears are what make him most goat-like upon first looking at him, but he also actually has a row of larger teeth at the bottom front of his jaw, giving him a goat-y bite.
He hates it when someone touches his ears, or grabs him by the horns.
He's also a vegetarian. He eats no meat, eggs, or any of the like. Just vegetables and fruits. He also only drinks either water or milk. (He's never tasted any alcohol and thus, it's effect on him is currently unknown)
His coat only has one sleeve. Reason? Because while it was being made he suddenly changed his mind and said he wanted a sleeved coat. To spite him, the coat maker only made a sleeve on the half that he had not yet finished. Much to his dismay, Cornel absolutely loved it.
He doesn't like seeing people cry and may end up crying himself.
