Description Happy new years everyone!

I haven't been very active the last 2-3 month but with the start of the new year I promise I'll be more active.

This is a 30 second exposure, using a hoya ND400 filter. I've increased the contrasts with curves, and did some slight darkening in the corners.

It's kinda late in the evening right now, I promise to have a look at your photos in the morning

Nikon D70s
Nikkor 18-70 mm
Hoya ND400 filter
Cokin p121 nd grad filter

What did you do to get the colors like that? Did Cokin p121 nd grad filter affect them somehow?

I think some of the colours came from the p121 which gives a slight pinkish colour cast sometimes, the ND400 usually deepens colours plus it was a nice sunset going on.

Guess I was lucky

Yeah I don't know why but I hardly use dA so often anymore. But I'll probably change that next month
Internet has been quite unstable lately but it's looking up.

Has anything fun happened lately?

If you look real close right at the horizon you can see a group of Brachiosauruses doing exhibition swimming!
Awesome shot. Did you take it at VΓ€nern or is it the sea?

Lookin good there Kens. I'm gonna have to find myself a ND for some longer exposures. Did you saturate the colors at all or was it just that right time of day?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Kjellsai In reply to thepowerofsoul [2008-01-28 23:10:22 +0000 UTC]

I've only done some contrast on it, so the colours are pretty much natural. Well, as natural as it gets when you slap on an ND400 and an ND grad filter

The colours get a bit deeper with the nd400 I've found.
