Description Just a reeeaallly slopy speedy paint of my tokota Thatchet 13622 with handler Tyler Mayson (tokota handler) going out on a city patrol.

You never see any tokotas in the city, perhaps because most people draw them in a more traditional/tribal theme, but i figure, eh, why not as a mounted patrol? they use horses for mounted patol in cities, why not tokotas? anyhoo, ill be doing a more detailed city pic soon, but for now have this mess.

Wow this really stands out.
I'm not sure why it never occurred to me to put Tokotas in a city setting!
A+ For thinking outside the box KJ. Also, I really like the feeling of this, it's calm yet eerie in such an odd way. A little unnerving to not know what's around that corner on such an empty street. (In a good way)

Why thank you! At first I was going to add more life to the painting, but once I had finished drawing in the toko I felt the same way, haha

Honestly for some reason I see Pack Leaders living in a more traditional/tribal setting and Prestige Breeders live in a more modern town/city setting. Like farmers vs city slickers. kinda. But, that's my opnion/head cannon.

i could kind of see that in some ways, the PBs like myself are more concentrated with preserving bloodlines and breeding for specific genes and rarities, so perhaps we would be more of an english stable kind of setting, while the PLs are more dedicated to training/traits and hunting, so perhaps more of a western ranch/country kinda of setting? (all my horse talk lol)

Yeah, I can see that. I'm going to be joing PB, so yeah that makes a lot of sense.

That explaination also makes me want to draw a group of PB handlers playing polo or fox hunting. XD

Oh that would be awesome! I'd have to figure out how to determine a winner and such- And probably have a Toko of my own first (but I guess that's not a must).

you could always borrow a toko of mine for the contest, kind of like a lease that ive seen a few people do. free HP for my toko, and whatever prizes you might win would go to you, of course, owning your own tokota is always nice!

no probs, if your wanting to earn up some TT to purchase your own tokota feel free to use one of mine for hunting/exploring/fishing etc. just be sure to tag me so i can record HP, then you can keep whatever items the tokota gets. (or you know, the adoption centre works too) haha

I might draw some of your Tokotas, anyway.

The other night I bought a really nice geno. I just have to get my design accepted now. In the meantime I still want to draw Tokotas, so I'll probably just pick ones from friends and other members. Or, make a journal seeing if anyone would be interested in me drawing their Toko. Lol.

I guess we don't tend to think of Tokos hunting in city streets, but you're right, there's no reason they can't otherwise live / work in a city. cx

I actually rather like the sloppy bits, they add a little life to the place.
