There were so many to choose from actually. I had no idea it was as simple as getting a dark coloured scarf, setting it on a stool and letting the snow fall on it. I should have thought of that sooner!

I need a macro adapter for my lense, I have a collection of macro filters, but they are for my old camera. Well, a macro lense would be nice.

I would say by the quality of this photo that your eyes gave you no problems focusing on that little snowflake, from a looker's point of view. I could see the crystalline structure of the ice in great detail. Very impressive, my Lady.

Ah I have a trick for that Richard, I just slide my lens on different focus settings to solve that wee problem. Hopefully later this year I can get glasses to solve that. At the time I went to the Eye specialist they said there was nothing I can do but wait, the new glasses work perfectly for long distance which is great though

Ah, yes, the age of the bifocal. You know, at 56, I still wear single focal diverging manasces. They are +22 diopters. My uncorrected vision is 20/2000. Corrected with spectacles, it is 20/200. With soft contacts, it is 20/100. To see up close with my glasses, I simply look over the top of the frames. With contacts, I have no near field vision and must wear powerful reading glasses at +4 diopters. Yep. I am legally blind. Good fortune on getting a set of lenses that work for you, dear Christina.
