Her canon age is never actually given.

Some say she was only 6 during the events of Donkey Kong 64, others claim she was older at age 10. Yours is at a happy medium of 8 years old.

Earlier that particular day, sunlight reflected off of a jiggy just right and caught her in the eyes. She luckily closed her eyes fast enough. Her eyelashes were, however, not so fortunate.
