Description You don't really see it addressed in the games, but I see DK's love for Candy as going beyond all else. Beyond that for his friends, his family, and maybe even his banana hoard. She is the reason he lives.

This is the first part of my 3-part "Kongs Under The Mistletoe" series; something I've drawn to cover just about all the bases as far as love and romance on DK Isles goes.

I hope Nintendo never decides to further any of DK's plots. I just don't trust them - I'm afraid they'll change things up from what Rareware has already given us.
