Description I am a huge fan of the Nu Metal genre. This drawing took me forever to complete. I tried copying stills from music videos for some of the pictures. On the top row is some random guy, Spider One of Powerman 5000, Des of Coal Chamber, RyKnow of Mudvayne. Next row is a Korn doll, Chad Grey (Kud/Chud) of Mudvayne, Epic of Crazy Town, Fred Durst and Wes Borland of Limp Bizkit, the little girl from Korn's Follow The Leader album, and Wayne Static of Static X. And finally, 1/3 of the members of Slipknot in chibi form, and Mudvayne in the same form.

Awesome picture, you got so many of the guys in there. I was so happy Limp Bizkit's new CD kept the original sound only it was heavier. They didn't cave into the mainstream like everyone else. Crazy Town is tha shit, glad somebody else knows that they're more than just a one-hit wonder.

Butterfly is kinda annoying, since Ive heard it so many damn times, lol. Darkside is a good song. Favorite song, actually. I havent listened to Limp Bizkit's new CD. Since Wes Borland left, I was afraid I would dislike it, so I didnt bother. But you said they didnt go mainstream, so that's a good thing. Thank you for commenting. I didnt think anyone appreciates Nu Metal.

Oh trust me I'm one of the few out there who truly loves it still, I mean it already wasn't that big when it came out, it got washed out by all the rap-only songs and people caught on to that more, sadly. Hoping people will come to like it again some day but a lot of people don't like it since they are rap-only, they disagree with the heavy guitar while the rockers can't stand the rap. But they're missing out on a really diverse music genre. Darkside is pretty awesome, love that Orgy was in it since I'm big on them too. The new CD is definitely worth checking out at least. It looked like Borland was in the Gold Cobra video unless it was a faker. You should check out the song "Middle of Nowhere" by the Blank Theory if you haven't heard it. I'm not sure if I would necessarily classify it as nu metal but it has the feel. No prob on commenting, I'm also glad to find another fan out there

Omigosh I hate how this so-called hard rock consists of Seether, Breaking Benjamin, and all those wannabe metal bands. And then there's also those emo/screamo bands that claim they're metal. Now, you mentioned rap. Rap from 2000-2005? is tolerable. Hell, some of it is good. Rapcore from those years as well, is pretty good, too. Im listening to Blank Theory at this moment. And I have to say, damn. It sounds awesome. They remind me of Unloco. Ever hear of them? This song kinda also reminds me of the song Are You Ready For This by Kritical. I heard that on a crappy B-rated movie called Freerunner. That movie has some pretty good music in it.

Anyway, God bless the metalheads!

Yeah a lot of shit on the radio sounds like pop. This station X103 here used to say they were alternative now they say they are new rock and play a bunch of pop and stoner music. Love unloco, I found them around the time I discovered folder. Folder's pretty alright if you can stand his voice. I'll have to check that Kritical song out. I'm always looking for more nu metal or stuff like it even though the selection is scarce. Seether and BB are rock but that's about it. Nowhere near the intensity of metal. I do enjoy Cigarettes by Seether though

That's funny you said your station is X103. Ours is called 105.9 The X. They pretty much play the same thing. They used to have something called Mandatory Metallica, where they play an hour's worth of Metallica at 6pm. I dont think they have that anymore. One of the last times I listened to The X, they had on We Are Young by Fun. I was shocked, I thought that's pop. I found alot of the Nu Metal bands through a list on Wikipedia. Yeah, that may sound silly, because Wiki can be hokey, but Im pretty sure thats how I found Unloco. I'll check out Cigarettes.

Yeah the X is what it is and Mandatory Metallica plays at 10 pm but they only play three songs. The hardrive comes on sundays in the evening and it's not so bad but then they switch over to techno til midnight. they play that Fun song ALL the time and that dumbass One Direction song. They drill it into your head. It's all messed up now and has made me lose faith in humanity as a whole. I've found ONE good station on the radio but I can only get it half the time because it's stationed two hours away. It's a'ight I admit going to Wikipedia just to see if there was some other stuff out there because there's so little nu metal selection. All good music is coming to an end but maybe one day people will come to their senses.

Pffff, One Direction isnt rock. It's pop. Hopefully, people will come to their senses. Then again, one day, they may call Nicki Minaj rock. Because everyone is turning "ghetto", everything is ruined. The Hardrive, you say? That's cool that a channel plays techno. Local channels here play that pop and lame-ass hip-hop shit. A couple days ago, my family and I drove near Ohio, and picked up a station that played 60's-80's, which was awesome. I also like those decades of music. Oh wait, come to think of it, there is a station that used to play Death Metal, but I dont know if they still do. It only came on a certain time. But Im glad there are others who share the love for Nu-Metal.
