Description
First attempt at underwater shading practice!! It was way harder than it seems, and it didn't turn out the way I planned it
Inspired by the comic "Homunculus", there is a scene where the guy is under too much pressure and jumps into the water and curls up into a ball.
Finally a fan art I don't have to flag as mature content XD

The composition is from the comic I mentioned in the description, I thought sucking his thumb is suitable so I didn't change that part

I really love these bubbles and these beams of light create such fantastic atmosphere. And I can't understand why do you call original colors boring, they are so delicate and lively

I struggled a lot while drawing the underwater shading and the light beams, etc, but the bubbles turn out to be the easiest!
The original colors is a totally different atmosphere, I was really afraid I would ruin it if the water shading doesn't go well

And such efforts led to a great result!
But it seems everyone use color-balance or overlay, so it's completely ok, and you create a wonderful base to start with.Β
