Ah, Hassard Cheratte. The Disneyland of urbexing. Last time I went there, there were at least 10 other people. On a regular week day. Imagine how busy it is on weekends -_-'

I was there on a weekend and we met a group of four photographers, two Teens with a Dog and one guy (who was alone). That was all and I think thats okay. The place is big, so we didn't saw the other people just for a few seconds

wow...even coal mines are made in wonderful architecture style... Ach..
That is why I respect Germans....
if only Communists had even small part of love to the beauty... (
but instead..Those freaks destroyed even the beauty of the past >_<
that is why most of my country is so ugly in architecture (((((

"The name 'Belgium' is derived from Gallia Belgica, a Roman province in the northernmost part of Gaul that, before Roman invasion in 100 BC, was inhabited by the Belgae, a mix of Celtic and Germanic peoples.[15][16] A gradual immigration by Germanic Frankish tribes during the 5th century brought the area under the rule of the Merovingian kings. A gradual shift of power during the 8th century led the kingdom of the Franks to evolve into the Carolingian Empire.[17] The Treaty of Verdun in 843 divided the region into Middle and West Francia and therefore into a set of more or less independent fiefdoms which, during the Middle Ages, were vassals either of the King of France or of the Holy Roman Emperor." During 1st and 2d World War the germans invaded Belgium.
