And here's an interesting tidbit: This is also known as the Chipotle bison because I fell asleep half-way through and scrawled "Chipotle" across the face. Luckily, I woke up before adding much more detail, so it wasn't too hard to go back and fix it.
Hrrrr.... I made this as an entry for the AIC holiday card collection. But I didn't have time to work on it until last night and it's due in three minutes so that's not gonna work. :\ And I think I worked way too dark, because it looks terrible when I print it. *fail*
Still, I think it's kind of cool that I did it in one sitting.

Sucks that you weren't able to turn it in... This is really, really good. The fur clumping texture is actually what I noticed first- really awesome.

Poor bison. But at least it makes a niffty umberella. XD Yeah. Awesome pic and I love the picture. Its nice how youve used different shades of brown on the same creature and i love the clumping in the fur .... it doesnt have ears. D:

I don't see a whole lot of dark on my end. I can actually see the details on the head and even the fur along the front legs quite fine, I guess it really depends on some's monitors.
Either way, this is beautifully done. I love the details in the fur as well as the snow. It looks very realistic. Wonderful job ^-^
