Eu entendo a tentativa da foto, mas acho que estourou demais a luminosidade. Pessoalmente, acho que se a velocidade tivesse sido um pouco melhor, o efeito teria alcançado o possível intuito.

It's something I'd like to include in my digital renders for a change. I think a little amount of lens flare looks cool, though I don't understand why it's always hexagonal.

It's because of the format of the aperture of the lens. Search for "lens blades" on images.google.com, you will get it.
Also if you wanna "create" flares, I suggest you to seek lots of "real world" examples. A flare on the wrong place looks very fake...

I know. There's not many of my pieces where it would look good, but it would be nice to have the ability to do it. Sadly, that involves some post-production work, which I've never done on any of my pictures.
