Jats’uts Yatzin es idioma maya y quiere decir "Hermosa Yatzin"Yatzin quiere decir "La amada", es amada por todos incluso por los animales.
Últimamente tengo la necesidad de elaborar piezas con relación a la cultura Maya
Desde que fui a Yucatán me sentí muy identificada con ellos, sentía que pertenecía ahí, tal vez en otra vida fui maya
Jats'uts Yatzin is Mayan language and means "Beautiful Yatzin"
Yatzin want mean "The beloved" is loved by everyone even by animals.
Lately I have the need to make pics relative to the Mayan culture
Since I went to Yucatán I could really identify with them, I felt I belonged there, maybe in another life I was Maya: D

Hi, Claudia! *smile* I enjoy the emotion expressed in this piece. You really succeeded in showing a meaningful interaction between the girl and the parrot. The colors are wonderful! On a purely emotional level, 'Jats uts Yatzin' makes me smile. Your composition is firm...but perhaps a little simplistic. The three colorful background flowers feel a bit forced in their placement...and their brightness competes with the main characters for the attention of my eye (especially the flower on the right). I mention those things, but they are minor and do not detract from the overall effectiveness of the image. The one thing that really hit me immediately is the 'missing right arm'. It looks awkward, and the fact that her arm disappears right at the shoulder joint feels...uncomfortable. Her figure seems...out of balance.
You say that perhaps you were Mayan in another life. *smile* I can identify with that feeling. I'm Italian...and I've been fascinated by the ancient Romans for as long as I can remember. *long breath* Like you said...maybe in another Life!

I love this picture! It's just so colorful. The brush and background portray the life that may be there easily. The markings on both her, and the parrot are very well placed as are the slight touch of shadows around. Everything is very well detailed and placed. The contrast of green and yellow flows with the main part of the picture wonderfully! And it also makes the pink flowers and the red and yellow flower pop out well. I especially like and enjoy the way that you drew the young women in this picture. Si hay algo que definitivamente me enamoro de esta pieza son los rasgos indígenas que le diste a su rostro. Sin embargo solo a mi parecer hay un detalle técnico en la pieza, lo cual es como esta arqueado el cuerpo, fuera de ahí, la pieza es magnífica.
