Hanna, a Greek myth exists about Icarus.
Icarus was lost in some park, together with his father Daedalus.
They would escape by air. So Icarus and Daedalus made a pair of wings from wax. They flew out of the park with their wings.
Suddenly Icarus said to his father that he wanted to fly more and more high, even to the sun. Father Daedalus warned him, because the sun was too hot and than his wings from wax would melt.
Icarus didn't obey his father and flew higher and higher. Until he reached the sun. Then he felt the heat of the sun and his wings began to melt. On that moment Icarus realized he was too high and that he better had listened to his father. But it was too late: his wings melted and then Icarus fell down on earth .....

Yes, Zhaleh. There was a myth that Icarus wanted to fly to the sun.
He made himself a pair of wings. But when he came to close to the sun his wings were destroyed by the heat.

And, he did that Not knowingly?? Ooh, but God could have sent an Angle to kiss his wounded wings and heal them again!! He could have simply asked for it....or was he too proud maybe??

He was warned not to fly to the sun, because that was too far and too hot. But Icarus didn't obey to Daedalus, his father, and did fly towards the sun.
And then his wings, which were made from wax melted and almost disappeared and Icarus fell down ..
