I still have e17 CVS build installed

I dont use it because the overlay effects in the bling-bling theme annoy me (and slow me down on my p4 sse2)

Would you be kind enough to email me that theme?

maybe ill give e17 another chance

You are almost right. its a modified milky theme, with images from istyle theme for osx. I chnaged several theme images and shelf images too. In the screeny I have 5 shelfs.
One at the bottom holding one ibar with my icons. One shelf at bottom right with transparent image holding one ibar with only one icon, the Trash icon.
One shelf at top right containing also a transparent ibar with some icons.
Two shelfs at top, one beneeth with a dark image, containing no modules at all, and one above it containing all modules you can see in the image. The above shelf is two pixels smaller than the one beneeth, giving that extra dark edge under it (because you see the shelf beneeth).

I have also edited several modules to adjust their placement, animation etc...
