Stella: SCIENCE ASSAULT!!! You know meteors "explode" right? Is because of impact force. F= m/a If there's not a lot of speed, the mass is what'll do the damage. But if there is a lot of speed... *Has my trees rocket themselves up at the meteor, their force canceling out the force of the meteor. The trees on the ground, meanwhile, use their branches and trunks like shock absorbers to stop the slowed meteor* ... then the solution is declaration. Oh btw, how was this supposed to not kill you? What was the size of this meteor? And wouldn't lava just harden and fly off from the transference of heat to the air, plus the friction? Are us taking into account the air displacement? What about the composition of the meteor? If it's black, that doesn't bode well for durability. Unless it's obsidian, black indicates something like carbon. Which burns SUPER easy when it's ignited. But if it was obsidian, it's cleavage would likely cause it to fracture.

Stella: Well that makes it easier. *The meteor shatters into shards as I bombard it's cleavage with tree trunks, making it easier to catch the fragments* You may not be able to see, or hear, what's going on with all that ash and soot whirling around you. Stella: (I'm still hidden. Just telepathically talking. ) Well that'd be odd. Considering I just shoved all that ash and soot into your servos. They should be clogging it up. Particularly the ash. It's noncombustible, so don't try burning it. As for the soot: It's combustible, but it's packing down the ash. You ignite it, and it'll explode and shove that ash further into your servos.
