so true. You'll only cut yourself, deeper and deeper, trying to mend it.. either, actually. The only difference here between the two is the fact that trying to mend a heart hurts so much more since it's on the inside.. lovely work you made, it captures (one of) the rue fact(s) about a broken heart. And, as with mirrors as well, even when you do finally fix it you can't use it properly. Even after you fix it, there's still a couple cracks. Lovely metaphor.
