I'm not a bird expert, but I asked the man who owns the Bird Of Prey Centre and he assures me that this is a peregrine

I doubt that... peregrines have very distinctive skin around the eyes. This bird looks much more like a ferruginous hawk.

Falcons are among my favourite birds, and this isn't one. A quick google image search to compare these two will confirm this.

This bird was in a bird of prey centre, so not entirely wild
