oh no... i wouldn't use an umbrella. w/a tropical climate like that, i would go out in that rain in short sleeves & shorts & walk around the block & enjoy!!!! Great shot & composition!!!!

It's funny how we have habits. I was actually under an awning out of the rain as well. It reminds me of Singapore which is about 32C degrees all year round but the locals will put on coats if it gets any cooler. You still see the tourists walking around sweating their arses off.

oh yeah.... its crazy! i live in New Hampshire USA & when it rains here, its usually a cold rain. i like being out in a warm rain...

The problem when it rains here Dave, is that it will pour down an inch of rain in an hour. That was a rare light shower. I once lived near Gladstone in central Queensland. It rained 75mm in an hour (3 inches). It washed the ballast out from under railway tracks. I was thinking about launching a boat, it rained so hard.
