Description One final arrow crossed the air with a woosh and struck its target. The thin wood shook for a while and went still, joining its comrades in an array spreading from a narrow area around the bullseye. Ayumi smiled and started pulling out the arrows, counting the score. She happily noticed her aim was steadily improving with every passing session. Sensei will be so proud!

Putting the arrows back into the quiver, she hang the whole set alongside the bow at the dojo's wall.

"Wonderful!" Ardis clapped her hands from near the entrance. "You're doing great, Ai! I wish I could see you at the tournament!"

"I'll do my best you could" Ayumi loosened the ponytail, her shoulder-long hair falling back to their proper place. She never liked pinning her hair up - but it was the only way to make sure it wouldn't bother her during training. Well, a small price to pay for all the satisfaction and happiness this sport gave her.

The fairy rose to her feet, standing slightly taller than Ayumi. The two exited the hall - right to the second shelf of Ayumi's bookcase. To their right stood her favourite photographic albums. To their left - a small bonsai pot, the tree barely reaching the height of one foot. And behind them...

"That was the best idea ever" Ayumi turned round, facing the box serving as an improvised dojo. Its walls and ceiling were made of plywood - but the rest was as close to the way a real dojo should be as possible. Floormats, targets, quivers, arrows and bows - all brought by Ayumi and shrank with Ardis' magic. There were even scroll-looking banners with inspirational quotes Ayumi copied from her club's place, neatly hung above the entrance. The whole construction was put in such a way sunlight lit it throughout the day, creating a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. A small, private wonder of theirs. And accessable thanks to Ardis' size-manipulating magic.

While Ayumi was busy contemplating the miniature construction, Ardis eyed her back (and below) with anxiety. It was perhaps the best chance she had in months, yet... How would Ayumi react? She once let her emotions and feelings run wild around Tammana, and that didn't go half as good as she'd expect... Not to mention she hoped she'd never have to tamper with her friends' memories again... But... If she... If just...

Finally, she made the decision.

"Ai..." her voice was shaking "...are you tired?"

"Huh? Well... yeah, that was a bit exhausting... You know, it's like a normal training with sensei to me" the tiny archer stretched and moaned.

"Yeah... So, maybe you just sit down a while and I'll give you a massage. OK?"

She gently steered her friend towards the bonsai pot, hoping to overcome Ayumi's surprise and confusion with a confident smile.

"A-actually... Yeah, my legs and arms ache a bit. Thanks Ardis, you're a star!"

At that moment Ayumi's grin meant to the fairy more than any treasure in the world.

They sat by the pot, the girl facing towards the ceramic wall, her head bent down.

"Could you please start with arms?" she asked, taking her chestpiece off and loosening the upper part of the outfit.

Ardis could not believe her luck. She put her hands underneath the white fabric, her fingers touching Ayumi's silky skin. Then she started pressing gently, making the girl sigh in relief.

She continued for a while in silence, her face getting closer and closer to Ayumi's back. She felt the blood rushing to her face, wings shaking uncontrollably, her heart throbbing somewhere inside her throat... Even Ayumi's sweat seemed to have a sweet scent. Every passing second brought Ardis closer and closer to the point of no return.

"Something's wrong...?" Ayumi tilted her head, but still unable to see her fairy friend's excitement "...you started pressing harder?"

"N-No..." Ardis mentaly slapped herself in the face and relaxed her grip. Hold your horses, hold your horses...

"A bit lower, please..." Ayumi let out a glad purr and relaxed completely as Ardis moved even a bit closer. The feeling was overpowering, just like when she held the genie-turned Tammana in her palm... But much, much stronger. Her will, pushed to its very boundries, started to crack. Finally she made a last, deep breath.

"Ai..." she said slowly, her hands going back up and resting on Ayumi's arms. She then stood up, gently turning the girl towards her. "...there's...there's something I need to tell you. Something important. Very, very, very important"

Words started picking up the pace, the last one turned into an almost unrecognizable blur of sounds. Ayumi looked at her in silence and surprise, letting herself be propped against the pot. Her quizzical look locked with Ardis' immobile, diluted pupils.

The fairy sat down on her knees, right between Ayumi's spread legs. She opened her mouth several times, but air just escaped, not forming any words. Her heart was about to explode into pieces, her hands, legs and wings shaking in fever. Speech failing her, she was on a brink of reverting to the world's most basic, instinctive language.

And that was when she jumped straight into that chasm.

Their lips locked, Ardis' attack meeting no resistance from Ayumi. She gifted the girl with one furious kiss, then a second, finally finding the courage to finish the sentece she began:

"I love you"

Ayumi's eyes lit up in shock, as she tried to push Ardis off her - but in vain. The passionate fairy blocked her legs, the long arm locking the upper half of her body. Another kiss - this time less violent, but longer, then another, even more passionate... And then she felt Ardis' other hand find her way downwards, underneath her tunic. Her muffled protest ignored, she felt long, slender fingers uncover her breast, then start rubbing it gently. Yet another stroke, yet another ring of fire on her lips. She struggled, she tried to push Ardis off...

But suddenly something melted within her, as if the fire poured down her throat and chest overcome some kind of barrier. She didn't have time to think, she couldn't even formulate a single coherent thought if she wanted. One part of her begged for this to stop, while the other... the other just hoped for all this to last forever. One shuddered in horror, while the other just went with the flow, wherever this madness would lead.

Above her, Ardis burnt with passion and lust, hungering for every inch of her skin to touch Ayumi, for any way to get closer to the one she yearned for. The moment she had been waiting for since their first meeting has finally come. An instant turned into eternity, the delight filling her, overflowing and dripping down towards Ayumi, a neverending circle of pleasure, love and ecstasy...

At first, Nastia wasn't alerted when she noticed Ayumi's flat to be seemingly empty. She just pushed the door wide open, assuming the host just lost track of time during her training 'session' at the minidojo. The fact that the door was unlocked also didn't surprise her - who'd be afraid of burglars if she had a hyperactive, size-and-who-knows-what-else-manipulating fairy guarding the premises? She just put her backpack on the floor, took out her shoes and proceeded to the living room, ready to remind Ayumi of their girls' night beginning soon.

And it was only then that things became weird.

"What. The. Actual. Fuck." she whispered under her breath, approaching the bookcase and realising what was happening on its second shelf.

* * *

Exposed and panicked, Ardis just fled, leaving the shocked, tiny girl half-conscious on the shelf. Nastia scooped the Ayumi, gave her some of her potion (which once again confirmed her belief it was a good idea to carry such stuff even to seemingly safe places) and helped her regain composure. Initially, Ayumi wanted to have the night cancelled, but after some convincing she agreed for Nastia to discreetly keep Tammana busy for an hour or two, so that the pair could settle this... 'issue'. And so, Anastasia left, allowing Ayumi to change into regular clothes and face her flatmate again.

Adris was hiding in some obscure crack, so Ayumi decided to take a less direct approach, instead of scouring the flat in search for the tiny being. She sat on a pillow next to the table, took a few deep breaths to calm herself down and called the fairy aloud.

Ardis, still red as a brick from embarrassment, hesitated at first. Was Ayumi mad at her? What should she expect now? But hiding forever was obviously not an option...

Reluctantly, she crawled out from her hiding place, shook the cobwebs off and flew to the living room, landing on the table. She looked up, directly into Ayumi's eyes. There was no sign of anger there... Which seemed to be a good sign. The silence lasted for a few whiles, before Ardis finally spoke first:

"Ai, I-I'm so sorry!" she started crying, tears pouring from her eyes. "I didn't want this to end this way, I just... I just can't hide it anymore, can't hold myself back, can't..."

She lost her breath, still looking up at Ayumi's gigantic figure. Back in her regular, loose yukata, the girl looked much less attractive than in the kyudo outfit - but was still irrestisible to Ardis. And the difference in size only made the impact more profound. She could only hope for Ayumi's forgiveness...

...while Ayumi herself watched the fairy with equal confusion. As Ardis' pleads turned into sobs and the tiny person fell to her knees, the girl felt a strange urge to just pick the fairy up and give her a hug. But first she needed to clarify the situation. Because, well... all that was not supposed to happen in the first place, was it?

"Ardis, calm down" she tried to sound confident and keep her voice steady, but realised she had absolutely no idea what to tell in such a situation. "You...you did nothing wrong. We are friends, we are close together, but... but that was not right..."

"But pairing Tammy and Mari in that stupid story of yours is OK, right?!"

"Listen to me" Ayumi leaned over the fairy, still doing her best to seem as confident as possible. "You are my precious friend. You are like a sister I never had. I can't imagine living without you, just like I can't imagine Tammy or Nastia disappearing from my life. I will never, ever let you down. Just... just reconsider what happened. This wasn't pleasant to me. At all" she added after a short pause.

Ardis gulped the last few tears, standing up. Deep inside, the fear and despair were being pushed out, refilling her heart with hope. Ai was not angry at her, she... they just needed more time. Yes. That was that. Ai saw her feelings, and while she rejected them now, she can't be blamed. It was her, Ardis' fault for rushing things, for making a move without first preparing ground. They both just needed some more time, that was all.

"I am really sorry, Ai" she nodded, her olive face still wet from smeared tears. "I'll rethink all of this. I promise"

"Great" Ayumi smiled, happy that she managed to find a peaceful way out of this situation, at least for a while. "I'll call Nastia, it's getting late"

Picking up her phone and choosing the number, she involuntarily licked her lips. A faint, semi-sweet taste - a phantom of kisses from just a short time ago - filled her mouth. The burning memory then spread across her body, a weak flicker compared to the fire she felt back then - yet it was enough for her heart to skip a single beat. She wanted to shake her head, as if that would help her throw the disturbing memory out of her mind, but she resisted the impulse. Not in front of Ardis.

Behind, the fairy sat peacefully on the table, eyes closed and the mind reliving the most beautiful moment of her life...
