"It's pretty simple" Sean rose to his feet, still grining "A tiny needle, dipped in shrinking solution, hidden in a sleeve"
"A shrinking... What?" Rose looked at Sean, startled "But... But... You're joking"
"Apparently, no. You should be feeling the effect kick in right now"

Rose took a look around the room. No, everything seemed fine. Except... Except... Wasn't the chair a bit less spacious when she sat down for the massage?

Suddenly she felt the carpet move below her feet. Normally, he was able to put her whole feet on the ground when sitting. Now she felt the carpet slide below, with only her toes touching the wooly surface. But that was impossible...

"You see? Those cute feet of yours are the best indicator. It should take some more time... Minute, or two. Don't really know, never tested it before"

Rose panicked. She jumped off the chair, desperately wanting to deny the fact that she... She was shrinking! That was impossible. This was no Wonderland, no SF film... Her mind was playing tricks on her, that wasn't possible...

Something clicked in her head when she saw that the table was now at her eyes' level. She must act!

"Give me the antidote Sean! Now!" She turned to her ex-boyfriend, who was now slowly turning into a giant. But he just smiled confidently, producing a small needle out of his sleeve.
"The only chemicals I have with me are on this needle. We may try poking you again... But I really don't think this would be a good idea."
"So where is the antidote?"
"Somewhere... In my place. Or Natalie's, don't really remember"

Sean's casual tone would have made her furious - if she wasn't slowly becoming tinier and tinier. Will this madness never stop? And... Did this mean his new girlfriend was involved as well?

She tried retreating from Sean - but with every centimetre passed, the whole room became larger and larger. The process was speeding up - and soon she was not sure whether she was moving away from her ex at all. The constantly growning giant grinned widely at her.

Suddenly the shrinking stopped. The once fuzzy and nice carpet froze as a dense forest of alien fibres, each the size of Rose's miniscule body. The table was a construction made of four sky-scraping trees, combined by a wooden surface on the clouds' level. The rest of the furniture was even more overwhelming - gigantic mountains of plastic, wood and metal, towering in the distance. Finally, there was Sean - an unimaginable giant, seemingly capable of crushing her with one lazy move of his finger...
