skin I use H, HB, B, 2B, eyes, H, B, 4B
all are mechanical pencils

I'm not expecting any kind of trade secret from this, but I've been wondering for some time how you go about the shading of the face? It's such a large area to cover. I'm going to guess tissue wrapped around a finger? Please enlighten me...

its actually by layers ^^
I start with a light pencil then work my way to a darker pencil, and I use a tissue to blend

Ah... that old chestnut. That's what I do also, I'm just not sure if I have the skills as of yet to be to shade such a large area so carefully. Practise makes perfect though, right?
I should probably point out that I do love all your work as well, but that's just expected!

This is probably your best portrait thus far in terms of accuracy to the original reference and it's not even done yet. You're just getting better and better ^_^
