Description
My attempt at making a soinc oc
I've looked up different sonic ocs and got inspired by the many different types and artwork done. So I decided to try to make not one, but five different ones, starting with a panda named Anessa. I'm planning on using Anessa and the other four charas I've thought of for a story I'm working on called The Genie of Music. I'm working on a rough draft and will make the other charas as well.I'm still practicing on drawing in sonic style, so I used a base for right now so I can get an idea of how I want her to look. Plus good practice for me in using Paint.net too. I don't usually see panda style ocs so I did the best I could and I'm glad how she came out though ^_^ I'd appreciate any feedback on her appearance and if I need to improve somewhere thank you.

*Nickname: Ness, Nessa
*Age: 16
*Species: Panda
*Personality: Caring to those in need, very skeptical of strangers, loyal to her friends and morals, loves to learn new things, can be a bit oblivious to things but is a good judge of character, loves to sing and dance with her crew and have concerts to those who like their songs
*Talent: Can do a bit of martial arts, singing and dancing
*Background: Anessa and her crew come from the Dragon Kingdom and are friends with Monkey Khan, or Ken. Anessa and Khan being good friends since like Khan, Anessa believes shes the only one of her kind since she's never seen other pandas before. Her other friends are a female echidna, a male dingo, and two twin chameleons from the Shinobi clan like Espio.
Anessa has always loved to sing and dance, and thanks to a coincidence with her and her friends, they end up together trying to find their destinys and forming their own band. Anessa being the lead singer as her friends sing background and play their own instruments.
Her and her friends finding a legend known as the Genie of Music, who is able to grant small wishes they desire and in return, they must help free the Genie of Music using four specific wishes. Each wish having a condition that is confusing, but by using all four wishes correctly can the Genie be set free. Anessa and her friends want to help the Genie, so they formed their own band out of their passion for music and travel around trying to figure out how to correctly use the four wishes.
The gold band on Anessa's arm is her contract with the Genie of Music and when Anessa needs to call on her, she just needs to rub the pendant shaped as a musical note.

Cool character! I can see that I'm not the only one who's made a character out of an Asian animal, mine being a Tiger named Stryke.

I don't really know that much about sonic but I think that the feet may be a little too big, the ears could use some outlines and one of the hands look like having only three fingers, and also it looks smaller than the other one but since you used a base I dunno how much you changed it. Well, either way I think is good, I have never seen an sonic panda OC though but I like it

I've never seen one either so I did the best I could
I was practicing with blurs on the ears so I knew they would need fixing, I was trying to figure out how to make panda ears so I kind of played around with an idea, the base has the hands and feet that way already, and when it comes to sonic, they tend to have pretty big feet already XD but what ya said is very helpful thank you. I appreciate it

Well, even though sonic style is almost nothing like reality you can still look for panda pictures to get some refference in ears and such I guess.
Also I had no idea that they did it that way, it is a little funny for me XD I actually don't know almost anything about sonic -__- but I'm glad I was able to help you ^^

I love sonic! XD and seeing the many different ocs for his world and viewing such amazing artwork done for them, I wanted to try.
I can't hand draw in that style yet, but I'm practicing. I just wanted a rough idea of what I wanted her to look like in color and see if I can get any advice like you gave me. Thank you again! ^_^

I have been thinking about trying to draw in sonic style for a while but I don't have any idea about what to draw, but I guess I could think of something. But right now I'm into some projects so it would have to wait.

I still got four other charas to make XD I'm working on a project myself involving Anessa and the four others. A story really and I'm hopeing to make it successful so yeah

Mine may take a while too since I still need to practice my skills. I made Anessa, now I just need to make a male dingo, a female echidna, and two twin boy and girl chameleons. The two chameleons I'm probably gunna do last since I hardly ever see any chameleon ocs either XD
