This is a wonderful portrait of such an amazing artist. I know you said that this feels like it's not done, but how long does it usually take to finish a painting like this?

Thank you! It took probably about a month and a half to get it to this point. She started out as a black and white underpainting, and then I put glazes of color over layer by layer. I haven't finished it still, but maybe one day I will know exactly what it needs and finish it up. Because as of now I feel like there are many ways I can go with this and some might help it some might mess it up. But yeah I loved Frida, I think that her imagery was amazing. You can taste the emotion it is so thickly layered in her work.
