this photo has been seen through so many eyes if I ever got to see him again I would love to speak with him.
the moment we shared was one I know he wouldn't remember, but he had just gotten off the bus, i asked for his photo, he didn't say anything, just stood there and snapped the photo and walked our separate ways.
most people i photographed would want to start up a conversation, but not him. i have moved since the photo was taken but if I ever go back I will wait at the bus stop for a week lol

I think its good, but it looks like he's tryng too hard to make himself look like he thinking. Or something. It makes it look a little fake.

sorry i ment to little saturation. saturation is like contrast so like go into photoshop cs/2 with this "man" and go to hue/saturation and go up with the saturation bar.

I think this is a good portrait. Did you develop it yourself though? It looks a little washed out, and the blacks aren't black, they're more of a purple. Might be from the scan though. I do feel that it would be more powerful if you upped the contrast. I'm also confused by his expression, cause it does kind of read- crazy homeless person. I don't get a thought process from him. I also think you should crop it more so we don't get those little white lines, but thats more for your portfolio, it's more professional.

the purple does come from my scanner, weird, the OG is nice, though i do agree that it needs more contrast! it has a very grey look to it.
the OG has a even border.. but when i scaned it in, i just croped it like that WHOOPS haha

bad crop. make the frames proper, thin white, simple
and I think I dont like the way it isnt pure black and white nor magenta manipulated all the way. I'd go for pure b&w or more greenish

When I was like 17 for a whole summer I photograph all the homeless from downtown and as far as models goes excellent ... they are always unique and the facial features obtains from rough street life make for powerful images
