my red pen explodedall over my hands and the page
and my first thought is that it looks like blood and you know,
that's fitting because isn't that
what writing is?
life written on a page,
tears and pain
and blood.
my hands are stained
and so is my heart
so i write
and i write
and i write
and hope that someday
i'll find
peace.
