I was doing a little warm up sketching at work, and the preliminary sketch for this piece came out, so I decided to finish it.I <3 Star Wars, but there are a lot of EU characters who don't get a whole lotta love, and these are two of them: Jaina Solo, Han and Leia's daughter, and Jagged Fel, her then-boyfriend-but-in-recent-books-fiancΓ©. I was thinking that this was during the Yuuzhan Vong War as written about in the New Jedi Order series.
Hopefully, I'll have some other "couple" fan-arts for Star Wars in the near future, but until then, enjoy!

Having read the "Legacy" comics (some of them anyway), clearly Jaina Solo and Jag Fel eventually get married and have babies, because in the "Legacy" era, the emperor is Roran Fel (someone please tell me if my spelling of his name is right).

That is just adorable. Very cute, very clean. And I now need to recreate that hairstyle, is that your concept? I love it; modern, but reminiscent of her mother. Excellent work!

Thank you! I was looking at some of Jaina's character art, and they always draw her with loose hair, and I thought if she's a pilot, she ought to have her hair pulled back! And the braid was a nod to Leia, for sure! ^_^
