A little something I did tonight to celebrate my being on holidays!
I'm extremely happy about having almost two weeks to myself to finally get back to drawing and painting. Hopefully I should be back soon with more new stuff to show you!

I love this! If not only for its beauty, but for it's personal meaning for me. I just finished a painting for one of my courses that was "self portrait" themed. My concept involved a girl with a tree growing out of her head - without explaining all the philosophy behind it, it's become an important symbol in my recent work. There was a story in the Netherlands, about a girl who was afraid of soap and water, and started to root and grow branches and leaves, and turned into a tree.
