Description drawn march 09

I decided to shade the background in, and I'm glad I did because it looks so much better!!

I'm such a Twilight geek....Bella looks terrified, and Edward looks the same, like he's afraid of what he's going to do. It's hard to capture their likenesses...I've seen a lot of attempts, and you got it! Bravo!

I was lookinh through some of ur drawings, and I only thing I can add is don't be scared to use a softer/darker pencil and press harder. darker shadows etc. give the drawing more depth.

I wish I could help but I'm not sure cuz I've never actually taken any lessons in my entire life. The only thing I would say is practice helps! Just keep drawing and you'll improve, learn from your mistakes, sometimes if you look at your drawing in the mirror u can tell where u went wrong. I've been drawing for 7 years and I definitely didn't start out like this! Also try drawing a photo upside down (it will help u draw the shapes and what u see rather than what u think should be there) if that makes sense. lol

thank you so much!
i've heard of that "technique", and i tried it once, let's just say that it was a "success" in showing mistakes...
