I couldnt help myself but to post this even though its nowhere near finished yet
My very own Star Seeker keyblade!! ^^ To go along with me being Wisdom Form Sora at London MCM Expo Oct 2011
Cut out from wood, just needs a good sanding down in the rough areas and then painted....yeah that shouldnt be too hard...*gulp*
But yeah work in progress, will update this, or post a newer pic when its either done or near done ^^ Hope you like it so far!

yeah luckily its just thick enough though so i wouldnt need a 2nd one cut out and stuck together

about 8mm, and its not too bad to carry, if i did the 2nd cutout and stuck it together i think it'd be too heavy

This is so cool!!! I didn't know you were gonna make this. Wisdom Form is so awesome but never gets enough love. I think Valor is the one that people usually choose, I cant wait to see this >:3 You did a great job making the base shape, good luck on the sanding.

Thank you so much!! ^^ I wanted to surprise everyone for when it was finished but i was too excited after cutting it out went sooooo well! xD
And it seemed like an awesome choice to go for Star Seeker to go with Wisdom Form, since they both represent magic in their own way ^^

How thick is the wood?
I suggest adding some foam board bits around the handle or something to give it a more 3-Dimensional look

It's just thick enough, i wasnt too sure beforehand whether it'd be enough and if it would need a 2nd panel of the wood i got to glue together, but once it was cut and i held it i knew one was all i needed.
And yeah certainly gonna make the handle more rounded with padding and such
