I use a 32" flat screen as a monitor and when i zoom in it doesnt seem that bad, but it does slightly get pixelated.

Excuse me, KnifeH, I recently got Paint SAI, and I was wondering, how did you blur the two colors together to add shadow? Such as Rainbow's color being blurred with another color? If you could tell me the tool, I'd appreciate it a lot!

Well, that's fairly simple.
You got the layers on the right hand side. The top layer will always draw over the smaller layer.
If you don't want to draw outside of the lines, just enable the top layer as Clipping Group.
Play around with the tools

I became a "brony" (or something else cause i don't particulary love the show) in august 2013 and this has been (did i wrote correctly?) one of the first deviants i've ever seen.
