Just to make it clear, I did not draw Haruka in the above avatar; I digitally manipulated the image. He's incredibly difficult to draw correctly. >.>Well, long story short, I've been working on familiarizing myself with GIMP lately, getting accustomed to the digital tools and so forth. I've been practicing with avatars and color bars, so you guys may see a few more of these from me in the future. . .
On that note, if you're willing to bear with me, I'm accepting requests for icons, avatars, or color bars, since I need the practice! Just let me know!
This is Haruka from the manga and anime tactics. He's actually an 'oni-kui tengu' (ogre-eating demon) of legend, but he masquerades in various fancy suits by day. XD
Man, I was so tempted to title this 'Fancy Pants Haruka'. . .

Well, I do draw and have been doing so for a while, but I'm not nearly good enough to draw something like in that avatar, which is an image from the tactics manga. I'm teaching myself how to use GIMP, so I submitted one of the avatars I'd been working on as a deviation. My regular gallery has some of my actual drawings.
Anyway, it'd be neat to see some of your work!
