I know that you are nice and all,
and you're great fun to be around,
but I don't love you.

We tease each other constantly
every time we meet,
and I can't stop grinning
when we do,
but I don't love you.

We like a lot of the same things,
and also things different enough
not to be boring to each other.
But I don't love you.

That's what I said.
We're both interested in other people.
But every time we meet,
I am amazed
at what a liar I am.
