First vector with inkscape, figured a 3 day weekend would be a good time to learn. It is both really good for some stuff, and utterly infuriating for others. Also hitting every Photoshop keybind ever didn't make it any easier.Enough about me. This made me laugh so hard when I saw it. I think I might try and add some more out of place hair on the lines between the colors on like on the tail, but there weren't any in the shot so such as we are.

Are you using miter on the points of her mane? It's a bit hard to tell.

Miter, but I went stroke to path and edited the paths to my liking (quite a lot on the sharper points). I don't find that the miter in Inkscape can really get those corners in the mane the way I want them.
