Description
I wanted to play with lighting. Particularly with some bright colors. And with complementing colors and rim light.
I did Shinsou cuz I had a sketch that I thought turned out pretty well. I was feeling pretty bleh and unmotivated, so I made myself do some lineart. Cuz doing something distracting like that even when I don't want to do anything is usually helpful for me.
My thought process for the pose was something like: I like spiderman's poses. Aizawa has a moment where he's on a pole or something like spiderman(or itachi). I want to draw Shinsou in ways inspired by Aizawa. So ta da!
For the clothes, I was thinking about what his hero suit could possibly look like. My main thought was something along the lines of what bicyclists wear, since that's one of his hobbies. Or at least his bio says he likes it. And he's wearing the lighter blue jacket over it for the sake of contrast. And it looks like a comfy jacket so I like it. It probably wouldn't be a normal part of his costume though. I imagine him wearing something simple and practical, but a bit more interesting than Aizawa's.

The semester is nearly over and hopefully I can work on more stuff before it's back to the grind.
Also, my back hurt the entire time I worked on this(a few days); I could not be comfortable to save my life. I think it's because of practicing violin, which I've been doing more of lately. I just got a new shoulder rest and I'm realizing how tense I had to be with my old one. I have no idea how some people can play without one.
But ya know, that's sorta off topic.
Anyway! Hopefully I can get some more FMT done.
