I started this sketch today before Meteorology and thought it would be good ink practice for my upcoming illustration assignment

It’s definitely a vent art too; honestly I'm struggling so much with the results of the election. I'm angry at the people who carry the Trump flag. I'm disappointed with the people who thought their voice wouldn't matter. But more than anything I'm scared for the future.
Or rather, I was. Now I'm so exhausted from this flurry of negative emotions that I'm just ready to crawl into bed and not emerge for 4 years

As for this piece itself, I'm happy with it all in all. I haven't worked with ink too much so I'm glad I remembered how horrible stippling is before I got myself in trouble on a large scale ink project :'D

/also signed it in light of recent events. Guys we're entitled to our work the moment we create it, but by putting your name and the date on a piece you're effectively placing a copyright on it, even if you don't actually file it with the government (we're discussing stuff like this in graphic design and I never wanted to have to use it for stuff like this but here we are ;-; )
