Description
A wonky and silly concept by me for a simple improvized/post-apocalyptic machine pistol of a novel type dubbed Roska DSCMP 380 (Drop Sear Cheek Machine Pistol 380). The Roska follows the new firearms concept developed by Rhett Neumayer of the "cheek pistol" youtu.be/87kKBaLI1f8 youtu.be/zFnKCNKRBK0 Which is a novel way of setting up some PDW's and pistols so that the end of the gun is held in contact with the shooter's cheek effectively giving the user a third point of contact similar to what a shoulder stock does to help with accuracy and weapon control but with much less bulk and length which makes the a cheek pistol more effective in close spaces and even easier to conceal then a more normal gun with a stock. In this case, the Roska DSCMP 380 is more of a cheek machine pistol than a normal cheek pistol as it is meant to be just fully automatic as the trigger system for a full-auto only firearms are generally way simpler than that of semi-auto ones (therefore more reliable) which is shown in this machine pistol with its (Drop Sear) mechanism which also explain the guns weirdly angled pistol grips, as the grips of the gun are like that of any other pistol/PDW but angled in a such a way that the trigger when pulled is pulled down which then at the same time pulls down the sear to release the bolt of the gun to chamber a round and fire. The trigger and sear are in this both formed into a single monolithic block to make the trigger and firing system extremely simple and potentially very reliable as there is simply just a single moving piece, the dropping sear/trigger hence the name for the trigger system (Drop Sear).
The weird angle of the pistol grips front and back should also theoretically make the usage of the firearms more comfortable when held close to the user body as the problem that I see in most other cheek pistol concepts is that to keep a more normal pistol so close to one's body and especially when held against one cheek often force the user to bend their wrist so much that it might be not just uncomfortable but also bad for the joints of the wrist, this theoretically can't happen if the grips of the gun are already bent so that when the gun is heald up close against the cheek the user's wrist does not need to be bent nearly whats so ever.
Action - Open bolt simple blowback, full auto only.
The design of the Roska DSCMP 380 makes it also a relatively effective melee weapon as the angle of the grips allows it to be used to hit hard like a hammer/spear, to make it better for hitting the front of the gun has been reinforced with metal. No need for a bayonet when the gun itself is like a hammer.
Chambering - 380 ACP (hence the 380 part of the guns name)
Magazine capacity - 20 rounds.
Magazine release mechanism - Heel release.
Construction - sheet/scrap metal and scrap wood
The word "Roska" in the guns name simply means trash/Garbage in Finnish, the gun is named such cause of its construction from what are essentially trash and Garbage
