It's never easy doing what you do as far as old fashioned street cop work goes. Anyone that says or thinks different has watched one 60 minute buddy cop show too many....

....Guilty a charged, but dosn't change a thing as a neko girl, Laura McCarthy, weary walks into her appartment stretching and yawning thanking the Lord she's home at last after a long day, not to mention in one piece. After a full day of routine street patrol, investigation and arrest of certain gang members, paperwork, a foot chase and fight with a out of town fugitive with no intentions of going back behind bars and even more paperwork after that, Laura knows she deserves a good night's rest.

After removing her leather coat, she only had a nice cold glass of orange juice from the kitchen fridge before making a beeline to her large sofa, casually throwing her coat over. It was then her moments of bliss began as she pulls off her silver ear rings and empties her pockets with her keys and wallet.

Hanging hidden behind her t-shirt was her silver and gold police badge she usually wears around her neck, in which she simply pulls it out and places it on the floor though was meant for her wooden coffee table with the glass center, but whatever.

Next she quickly undos the laces of her dark brown boots which were showing signs of serious wear but still sturdy and strong for hard days, and keeps her feet warm on those cold nights; just the way she likes 'em. Just pulling them off was enough to make the cat girl sigh and silently purr in pure bliss as she takes in the sweaty and fresh scent of her large size 10s. No sooner as her boots were off, so does her gray socks as she simply threw them on the floor along with her badge and belongings before rubbing foot and the other the best she could.

Soon after she's finished, she slowly places them on the arm of the sofa before stretching and yawning once more. She couldn't help but look at her wiggling and curling toes as she pulls out her department issued piece, a Beretta Cougar model 8000, from her concealed holster and tucks it deep between her right and the deep part of the sofa, safety on. Looking on at her feet as her left toes soft scratched her right smooth sole occasionally, has made her think the very feeling of them is just like her at times; strong, flexible, uniquely beautiful so says her long passed and equally missed mother, and of course sensitive. Or if you will in her case, a heart as strong and bright as gold.

Stretching her arms, legs and tail, Laura looks around the dimly lit front room before looking up at the ceiling, her eyes growing heavier and falls to sleeping before she knows it. A nice warm bed would have been suffice after the day she had, for she may have to get up, get freshly dressed and be ready to do it all over again.

But for now, its ok; tomorrow is her day off...

Yeah, so sue me for long story.

First off, a big thank you for for doing this for me as a commission (my very first commission request actually). Couldn't say thanks enough let alone letting me post it on my page.

Second as you can see, she's one of my random law enforcement related OCs (......among many; ) and actually my first aim at kemonomimi or just plain catgirl if you will as an OC.

As far as Laura goes, she's rather new as far as appearance, personalty, temperament, so on. At first I was going for simply human (another first as far as OCs), then maybe just a cat. Later on I had a thought......why not both? As far as her background goes as far as bio, she's somewhat of a half breed, still human like her father while having the ears and tail of her mother, who happens to be a tabby.

All that can be said for now is she's basiaclly a tough street smart gal with a heart of gold since being a plainclothes detective and all. Plus she can be a handful at times when it comes to combat hence her scar, word to the wise.

So that's that;.
