Description I found a book at library about sewing old clothing, and wanted to try it out. It only had patterns though (and pretty bad ones at that o.o;; ), so I wanted to try out a miniature version first, before wasting fabric. But as I continued making it, I decided I wanted to make it as nice as possible, so I put a bit more effort into it than I thought I was going to xD. Now I reaaally want a dollfie to dress up - small clothes are fun to make. But they're hard - there's all sorts of little mistakes (the sleeves...) that look ugly, but were impossible to fix because of the size >.<

That is really pretty cool. Do you remember the name of the book? I'd love to try making a coat like that for myself or even my doll

Thanks! The book was called 'Patterns for Theatrical Costumes', by Katherine Strand Holkeboer : )

So much detail, did you hand stitch most of it? Do you mind me asking what book it was?

I hand stitched quite a bit of it, but attempted to use a machine to strengthen the seams, and for some of the details. The book was called 'atterns for Theatrical Costumes', by Katherine Strand Holkeboer.

Hand stitching is my weak point so I think this is really amazing. Thanks for sharing the book title (o^_^o)/

Well, I bet the details wouldn't be as hard. I don't work well with small things.
I'm sure it'll turn out awesome!
