I've given it a lot of thought actually originally the concept for this picture came from my love of classic comic book covers especially those from the 50's with their weird stories one that particularity stayed with me was one called Wonder Woman -Gorilla, I searched for it for years before I finally found it online the actually story was very disappointing but it still stayed with me and I've thought about how it could be made to be better.
The fat Wonder Woman story idea came from a quote from Wonder Woman vol 2 #5, in which Diana remarks to herself about the sleeping Etta Candy how "stout, unfit and wide enough to be two of her" she is. I though what would be like for the Amazon Princess to wake to find herself short and fat.
The more I've thought about these ideas and this picture to more I want to do stories to go along with them. I really like "fish out of water" type stories and I think that Diana/Wonder Woman is a good character to use for that type of story.
