Commission piece for a client. He wanted to keep it simple, but left the ultimate design up to me. I used the rampant lion that he wanted and just did a little bit of edging work. It’s a beautiful box and I wanted the wood to shine through. Lined in burlap. That was a learning experience for sure! I’m very pleased with how it came out.
