(Disclaimer)- I do not own the background I got this from, IGN and using it as a tribute to, Christina Grimmie. I only drew and painted her face onto the background.Hey guys sorry for its been awhile but alot at work and now this popped up. My heart is with the Grimmie family and the tragedy in Orlando for both were a roller coaster for me due to family being around the area. Thank, God family were safe. Sadly from one of my favorite youtubers and someone I would like to call a "Fran". I did not know her on a personal level but through youtube chats etc. She was your everyday person who could make you laugh and touch your heart with her blessed ability to sing. I did not know she was hurt or worse until Saturday afternoon which flipped my world upside down.
I remember following her for the 1st time on Youtube do to me looking up Elder Scrolls: Skyrim Dovahkiin theme. She was so awesome on it and I was hooked ever since. I even commented on that song and she replied and I was like wow she did not have to do that. She saw a lil of my art saying I was super talented and I was like HOLY COW! lol...Cant believe someone would take her life. She was an innocent soul who meant no harm towards anyone and from what I saw never looked for trouble. Its not right...just not right...
I knew she was a BIG Legend of Zelda fan and this was probably one of the hardest pieces of art work to draw/paint. My heart and mind are torn knowing from one artist to another for she was an artist in her own right as a singer and musician that I will never get to hear and see anything new. I am also mad that I waited till now to draw something she would had loved despite all that has happened.
I am just rambling sorry, guys. If this was my last time on earth before, God takes me I will say this. DO NOT WAIT to tell those you love and care about how you feel about them. Infact do not just say it but show it through your actions. To some people you might get hurt in the process, but nothing ventured nothing gained right? Aim high and dont hold back
She was not just a Youtuber to me but like I said your everyday person who just loved to be expressive and have fun being who she was and loved doing. She was not ashamed to admit her love for, Jesus and for that she will always be a sister in the Lord and "Fran" to me...

That is so beautiful I could cry. Whenever I think of Christina, this is the type of imagery that springs to my mind. Instead of being upset and angry like I was at first, I can just think about what a beautiful place she's now in and how she brightened up our world. I hope I get to meet her in Heaven and tell her how she helped us get in touch with our emotions of joy and sadness.

Yea its hard 4 me. I'm still not over it completely...but i try n always try to rem how she would want me to continue being. I still try to be silly, goofy, stupid and most of all loving and faithful to the very end in Christ. She helped me to learn to be more accepting of myself...which was awesome 4 her to do 4 all of us...miss u Grimms. Thank u 4 liking the art piece as well.

I totally agree. She was so happy, and not in an annoying way. She was very endearing and sweet. When I lie awake at night, I often think about her and wonder what Heaven's like for her. I hope we see her there the same way we would on earth, and we get to hug her.
Also, did you really chat with her? I'll bet her words felt like medicine. You have no idea how many songs I wish I could hear her cover. One song is "Again" by Flyleaf. I think that band is Christians like she was. She definitely had a golden touch with her voice.
While I might still continue to get cynical and have rivalries with people, and even have episodes of self-loathing, I'm still gonna keep Christina's messages about acceptance in mind. And thank you for creating an art piece like this which brings me comfort after the worst celebrity death I've ever seen.
