The english dub changed it to raccoons since most kids might not know what a tanuki was (they changed the balls to 'pouch' as well as the english dubbers decided that enlarging privates were too vulgar for young children), plus tanuki is japanese for 'raccoon' anyway even though a tanuki's actually part of the canine family. ^_^

the Base I used for my icon WAS meant to be a cat (at least I recognized it as a cat XD)
and the race of my OOC also is a bit cat-like (at least from the face and agility)
also I confused Tanukis with Racoons for a long time, too XD

i guess, but you dont see the actual death of the cubs, like you do with some like when that other racoon got runover and there was blood coming out of its outh, that was mean

lol, just thought i should warn you so if you didnt like sad movies you wouldnt come back to me saying that it was awful and it made you cry, hope you enjoy it then, it realy makes you think about the enviroment and horrible grredy people in this world
