SEVERELY UNDERRATED CHARACTER. if you dont like her... and especially if you don't like her because she "stole shadow's name" (seriously, this is a reason people have actually, unironically given), you are a total plebeian, part of the problem, and i weep for the human raceI really like her, but I haven't drawn her much at all because she's "hard to draw" for some reason... so I was fixing that with practice lol
I gave her a formal outfit based off a roman toga and some other stuff, too.
And vector is there because i love vector too and that's reason enough!! and same with marine
idk why, but i imagined vector and shade going off on a quest to find espio or something

When Chronicles came out, I always felt deep down she was inspired by Julie-Su
with her being from the rival tribe and all, being an antagonist then being converted
BUT HHHH honestly if that's the truth then it is 1000% better than her in terms of personality and design
And it kills me that I will never see this character in canon ever again

She is a well designed character. I just wish she was actually developed in the game she appeared in, since her turning against Ix was rather sudden, and I feel like a lot of opportunities to expound upon her were wasted. I guess that one of the main reasons for this, is that Sonic Chronicles wasn't supposed to be a standalone game. It was supposed to have at least one sequel, as far as we can tell, and I would assume that this sequel would be where Shade, and Knuckles would actually get the development that we wanted. Oh well.
Nice job by the way. I was wondering if you would ever get around to drawing this character. It makes me happy to see that she hasn't been totally forgotten.

The sheer fact that I forgot about such an interesting character like her is a testament to how underrated she isΒ

Even though the game was developed by Bioware, In a technical standpoint, Sega can work on another game for Chronicles without Bioware's involvement since the Game was a trademark of SEGA and its still part of the Sonic IP, which is SEGA's own. Always remember that Bioware developed that game. However its also unlikely we'll ever see a sequel because of the Ken Penders Lawsuit (which is very complicated to explain).
So yeah, Don't Blame Bioware (EA, which owns Bioware) and SEGA. Blame Ken Penders for all of this.

We had a REALLY cool character, but Ken Penders decides to throw a big fit just because he claimed the creators of the game "Stole" his idea of echidnas from space...!

So true. Ken just wanted to yell out of it over the claim its for "Copyright Infringement" when both the Nocturnus Clan and The Dark Egg Legion are different but not nearly the same. Of course, there's similarities, but they're different in reality. Which also made Ken ruin everything related to this new Spin-Off and the Comics as well. We really need Shade Back but it'll take time for a Revival to come, but we'll see
