Flag design I made back in 2020 and never did anything with.

Going with a future nation idea formed out of mass settlement/colonisation from China to eastern parts of Africa (Horn of Africa perhaps?) which eventually leads to separation from China proper to form a new nation due to cultural and racial differences.

The square/diamond represents a union of races (white + black, ying + yang) as well as using some Pan-African colours (green + orange). The Red for the blood of the people forging a new future, and maybe to denote the nation's physical location at the horn.
The blue for the ocean which faces east towards the ancestral homeland of the Han population.

That's as much as I can give you lore-wise and i'm not versed in either east Asian or east African history to aid in padding it out anymore than that. Feel free to speculate though.
