I want to dedicate this image to all my artist friends! For making the community a fun place to be, and for all the nice comments!

I want to give a special thank you to my sweetie Drea ♥ for teaching me everything Vue related, she has been my greatest teacher! And for her unconditional support! Also special thanks to Dax and Cynthia from the Quadspinner team for their fantasic products and advice!

This image is for ALL my friends, all my friends are equally important anyway!

Some info about the image:

Probably the most complex and challenging scene I’ve made so far. The lighting was very time consuming to get right. As the entire inner forest is covered in volumetric rays and shadows, lots of indirect lighting, the first test renders suffered from severe grain.Eventually I boosted the atmospheric quality to +8 and used systematic AA with a massive 32x rays to solve that problem.
Render time about 4 hours.

Quadspinner: Supernoi, Iroxus, Mudros.
Wabe: Moss
Asile FX: Jungle plant pack
Bark material by me, everything else by me.

No postwork beside, adding a border, title and watermark (PS CS5)
